Is it possible to change my car rental date?

Absolutely, as long as you provide us with a minimum of 15 days’ notice, you can adjust your 4×4 hire date up to two times without any additional charges. Please note that date changes with gorilla permits and chimp permits for Rwanda and Uganda may not always be possible due to unavailability issues especially during the peak trekking months of July, August, December and January. 4×4 hire extensions are always usually accommodated allowing you to extend your safari or holiday rental without any problems. We want your trip and 4×4 hire to be as flexible as possible and with minimum interruptions.

Our cancellation policy.

Cancellation – 29-90 days prior to departure = 70%

Cancellation – 15-28 days prior to departure = 50%

Cancellation – less than 14days – 0%

In some cases it may not be possible to offer any refunds for certain services once a booking has been made. Specifically entry fees to the national parks plus gorilla permits and chimpanzee permits. These will be the subjected to RDB’s and UWA’s cancellation policies., which are way out of our control.

How does the booking process work?

To secure your booking, we request a 20% down payment payable using most major credit cards via paypal or stripe. Alternatively, the advance commitment payment can be made by bank wire transfer into our UK or Uganda bank account. The remaining 80% to be paid in cash USD/Euros at the start of rental at each rental station.

Do you offer cross border 4×4 hire?

Absolutely! We offer cross border 4×4 rental between for example Rwanda and Uganda. Hire a 4×4 in Kigali, travel through Rwanda, cross the border into Uganda and drop the rental vehicle in Entebbe or Kampala. Alternatively, if your rental ends in Kigali, you may drop off the hire car in Kigali. Looking for 4×4 hire between Kenya and Tanzania or Malawi and Zambia? No worries. One way hire? Do you offer fully equipped 4×4 rental vehicles?

Yes, we do! We offer fully equipped 4×4 rental vehicles in Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania and Malawi. Our safari equipped 4×4 vehicles come with rooftop tents/ground tents as well as camping gear and fridges/cooler boxes. Camping safaris are a cheaper and flexible way of having a safari holiday. Our camping gear rental prices are very competitive enabling you to travel at budget prices to some of the most amazing safari destinations including, Kidepo, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Selous, Ruaha, Mikumi, Akagera, Bwindi, Murchison Falls etc.
